The Response rate feature is about letting dating site members know how often this or that site user responds to messages.
A lot of people today feel overwhelmed with the amount of information thrown at them. It may lead to them ignoring the messages that they receive on your site, and it's not good for the online dating because it puts other people off.
The response rate indicator is meant to show if this or that site member ignores the messages they receive, or if they are quick to respond. The indicator will appear in the user's profile. The red colour will mean that the person keeps a low profile; green — that one can message this person and be sure to hear back from them; and yellow — something in between. The calculations will be based on the incoming-to-responded messages ratio.
In the sample sketch above, Maria answers all messages regularly, Marcia — not so often, and Kelly answers seldom, if at all.
